It was better in Milwaukee, but we got to see Laverne's bird legs a lot more in Burbank! Hahaha!!!

C'mon -- this poll is kind of pointless. Is anyone really going to vote for Burbank?

Lifetime just cycled back to the beginning of the run, and it's just amazing how completely different (and better) the show was at the beginning than it was at the end.

I voted for Milwaukee, although numerous visits to JumpTheShark.com caused me to gain an interest to see the Burbank (or, as I call them, Californian) episodes, final Shirley-less season included, and what everyone was writing about.

Milwaukee, sorry about Burbank

DEFINETLY MILLWAUKEE!!! The Calif. years were OK at first, not good but not bad either. But the last season SUCKED big time!!!

Milwaukee, They belonged in Milwaukee.

Wilwaukee had most of the best episodes, but there were some funny California episodes too.

Hands down, Milwaukee.

Definitely gotta jump on board everyone's bandwagon with this one, and reply with an enthusiastic "Milwaukee!!!"... I dislike the Cali episodes immensely, based on principle and based on the fact that they do, in actuality (IMO) truly suck. I honestly can't even watch them (with a mere one or two exceptions).. they don't even feel like L&S to me, and the Cali years definitely don't represent the show that I loved as a kid/teen.

The Milwaukee episodes were much better. Theres only a few California episodes that I really like. I thought the whole idea of moving the entire cast to CA was stupid. If they were going to change locations they should have dropped a few of the supporting characters like Lenny, Squiggy and Carmen and added new ones in their place. It would have been a lot more believable.

Yeah, as much as I liked Lenny and Squiggy and Carmine. It would make more sense for the girls to meet new people and make new friends. Who takes their crew with them when they move? :lol:

:lol: Exactly. I liked all those characters but they never should have gone to CA with Laverne and Shirley. Well, maybe Carmen since he was so p-whipped when it came to Shirley but not Lenny and Squiggy. :lol:
