Debbie Matenopoulos, late of The View and the TV Guide Channel, and Arthel Neville, formerly of E! and Extra, have been tapped as the new female cohosts of the syndicated gabfest Good Day Live. They replace Jillian Barberie and Dorothy Lucey, who left to pursue other interests. Like standing in an unemployment line.

Why did Dorothy really leave? I just saw her on there a couple weeks ago and she never mentioned that she was going to be leaving.

I think Dorothy was fired also, during the local morning show she made a joke about being fired when reading a story about "The Apprentice" coming to DVD... Jillian chuckled and agreed with her.

Yeah but those two were aggrivating anyways. The one sounded like she swallowed Joan Rivers and the other wanted to be Barbie, I she were anymore "into herself" she would be exposed. She got a lot of mail from viewers saying Take her the hell off.

I wonder if Debbie Matanoupolos will be any good. I mean I hear she is, but it's hard for me to imagine because I only have ever seen her on the View. hmmm

Isn't Dorothy still on locally in California?I used to watch when I was out there and started watching the syndicated version in the past year or so.
