ok, I need help. Mainly from the girls here. Not that I don't value all of the male opinions here, it's just that girls would understand me more.

I'll start from the beginning....

I used to live in FL, where this really annoying clingy girl used to follow me around. She the kind of person who is sooooo incredibly nice/sweet annoying that it's kinda hard to hate her, but anywho...

She is a social outkast, well atleast she was...

There's also this guy I've known for a long time. He's kinda like my Best Friend, but I have a major crush on this guy.

So he threw me a going away party, and the annoying clingy girl came to it. So then when I moved away, she got to know people and started hanging out with the A crowd, so to speak.

So over the weekend(Before school started) I went down to FL, for a visit. The guy I like planned me a "welcome back for a weekend" dinner party thing at this fancy restaurant, so I was pretty happy. Untill I found out that the annoying clingy girl was coming.

Ok, I've never told anyone how much I dislike this girl, not even him, so he didn't know any better as to not to invite her. So we hung out all day(Me and him) and he randomly said that we were gonna go to the mall before we met all my other friends at dinner.

So we got to the mall, and as a "surprise" he invited the annoying girl. and I was like, "whoo-pee"

So as we were walking through the mall, the annoying girl started getting very "friendly" with the guy, she was flirting like crazy!

But you want to know the worst thing? He was flirting back!

I was gonna kill her!!!

But I couldn't in a public place, the blood might leave a stain or something.

So I was all like, "can we go to the restaurant now?" So we went early to make sure we got a table big enough for our party. And the whole time, I was doing whatever I could to get between them as we walked or leave her out of the conversation.

So dinner was very stressful, trying to keep her away from him.

But after dinner, everybody wanted to go to the beach. But I had a huge head ache, so I had to go back to the hotel. But I really didn't want to leave the two of them alone.

But I had to anyway, So now I'm wondering what happened.

But my real problem is, should I tell him? You know, about me liking him?

It might screw up our friendship(which I don't want to screw up), but if I don't tell him soon, the other girl will get him.

And even if I tell him, he probably won't feel the same way, and ignore me for the rest of my life. But if I don't tell him, I might explode by keeping all of my feelings to myself!

I'm really stressing, will somebody please help me?

Follow the example of the great Dr. Lilith Sternin: don't feel.

You don't live in Florida anymore, so why does it matter that this other girl gets him? You probably won't see this guy regularly enough to maintain a healthy relationship. You have to learn to let go.

Then again...I'm not the best advice-giver, seeing as I have always managed to overcome my crushes in a matter of hours. Oh, and add the fact that I rarely get crushes. So really, I don't know what it feels like. But things are much easier if you do them my way. ;)

I haven't not had a crush on some guy for...12 years. But I have never, ever told them...too shy. So if you do say anything, you have more guts than I do.

I thought of something, then thought against it, because he might get mad. So I'm not sure.
