To prevent burns, skin cancer, etc. You still get a tan.

I wear it because I have really pale skin and I tan if I'm outside for like 15 minutes, any longer and I BURN.

But I'd say a lot of people wear it so that they don't get skin cancer and die.

pale girls can be really hot...

I personally hate my pale skin, just because having to worry about sunburns sucks

I dont like putting sun screen on.........

It acts like a magnifier and can really do more damage!!

^ sun screen does not let the sun do more damage.

If I were to use a sunscreen and I never did and I spent years in the sun and beaches, I would buy and use NON Commercial types without all the deadly chemicals in commercial products....
