Do you like them? If so what kind and how? I like sesame bagels toasted with Philadelphia cream cheese with chives. Sometimes, I like plain bagels, not toasted with butter.

For home, I buy Thomas' New York Style. Outside, I like Dunkin' Donuts. I just to buy bagels at Finagle a Bagel when I worked downtown.

My husband likes the Everything bagel. I don't want onion or garlic on my breath in the morning.

I don't like Bagels that much.

Everything, onion, garlic, salt, sesame, sour cream are my favorites :drool:. I like all of those especially with strawberry cream cheese. And I like them lightly toasted- golden on the edges.

I like cinnamon raisen bagels too.

Mmmm I love bagels .. especially at the Manhattan Bagel we have here .. I like bagels with just butter, not toasted, and I love any kind of bagel.

I like bagels. I usually eat toasted onion bagels with light cream cheese.

I like the garlic and onion ones but definitely not for breakfast. I like blueberry ones. These two bagel varieties are my favorites. :D

If you think NYC pizza snobbery is bad, NYC bagel snobbery is probably worse. An ordinary corner bagel store here which we would turn our noses up at is no doubt better than any bagel that most of you non New Yorkers have ever had in your lives.

Frozen or supermarket packaged bagels are unthinkable. I have my favorites of variety or spreads, but the most important thing is freshness. When I buy a bagel, my first question is, "What just came out of the oven?" There's is nothing like a steaming hot fresh bagel. My favorites are everything, salt and onion, but I'll usually take whatever is hot and fresh. I personally like scallion cream cheese, but only butter with cinnamon raisin bagels.

Fresh bagels should never be toasted. If you buy a dozen and eat them for a few days, you can toast them after the first day, but if your bagels need toasting right after you buy them, they're stale..

You want to load up on carbs, load up on bagels!!!!!!!!
