In the "Come and Knock on Our Door" book, John Ritter says that the producers said that they would try to spin off the other characters. This never happened. And when the producers announced that Three's Company would turn into "a Crowd", Joyce DeWitt asked the producers to possibly keep Three's Company going. I think this would have worked. Maybe have someone like a cross between Felipe and Jack would have worked as a replacement for John Ritter. People would want to view how different it was, and it would have been great if it had been on right before Three's a Crowd so TAC could maybe have been renewed. And Priscilla Barnes could have been released and been replaced, because she herself said that she was happy it was over. Joyce Dewitt could have been the only orginal cast member left. They could have brought back Jenilee HArrison or even Suzanne Somers if she and Joyce had made up..
