its true.
just look through the episode guide, there's so many "treky-insiders" that they point out.

I personally am not a fan of Star Trek.... but thank god the writers were trekkies, or we may never have gotten Noel!

Me thinks he doth protest too much....

Are you sure about that that.....TREKY??

But you're right. My theory is that they were all a bunch of nerds. I mean, they're not only trekkies, but they're eggheads. And same goes for the writers for Cheers. I mean, is it just a coincidence that they chose Kate Mulgrew to guest star in the 4th season?? The same woman who later starred in a another Star Trek show?? The future Captain Janeway?? Um, don't ask me how I know that. And I also think the writers, like Cliff and Norm, lived vicariously through Sam Malone. Bunch of nerds.

I may be a nerd, and I may be a couchpotato (not in the "classic" sense), and I may be a geek....
but as god as my witness I will never be hungry again!
Wait, no.... as god as my witness I am not a treky.

I can honestly say I have NEVER been a treky, nor will I ever be!

We sit around and watch Cheers and Frasier all day, of course we're couchpotatos!

Geek is such a strong word - makes me think of Skreech Powers, from Saved By the Bell! NERD is better!

I'll enjoy the free-time and NOT take it for granted, lol! Hmm, that is starting to sound like an oath.

But I don't watch 17 hours of TV!;)

BTW, LOVE your avatar, Barwars! I can imagine Lilith working at WJM! Haha!

I'm not a nerd. My mom says I'm the coolest kid in school.

Good idea.
Be on the lookout for Noel, possibly the biggest treky of alltime.

The NewsRadio writers admitted to liking nerd like things on one of the commentaries. It seems the nerdier the writters the better the writting!

And FWIW they are called Trekers, not Trekies :)
