Who do you think was the best guest star? I think it was Anne Schreden. She was really good at playing Linda, esp. in "Stanley's Hotline", where she was a one episode replacement for Joyce DeWitt.

Jeffrey Tambor. He was funny as hell playing a different role each time (I think he was on about four times throughout the show's run). The producers saw how he killed in every scene he was in, so they offered him a supporting role in the spinoff "The Ropers".
