hi i am no to this website thank you for letting me join i am a huge fan of happy days and i am glade to see that the series is coming to dvd i have a question i no that happy days had 255 episodes but where there any lost footages that where never shown because i remember when the arnold's was built richie ralph and potise where doing more performing and singing towards the end and i think that richie was working there as a waiter before he left so please tell me where there any lost footages of the show that was un aired, and was fonzie really in the classic plot love america style of love and the happy days because if he was i did not see him thank you studd911

Anyway, as for your questions, no, Fonzie wasn't in the "Love, American Style" segment called "Love and the Happy Day" which was the pilot for "Happy Days". But, Henry Winkler; who played Fonzie; was in a movie the same year that "Happy Days" started, called "The Lords of Flatbush" as a Fonzie-like character.
There has been footage of the show that's been cut out over the years; unfortunately; that's done to all shows to make room for commercials, and, since commercials keep shows on the air; it's only going to get worse.
In the 70s, when "Happy Days" first aired, a 30 minute show was 25 minutes long. Now, it's 22 minutes!!:mad: :mad:

hey thank you for anwsering part of the question. So there are some episodes the was cut or never shown of richie potsie, and ralph singing more then once in the old arnolds and the knew one. i just hope that the dvd's show everything uncut and commercial free. So you believe that there was never before seen footages that was cut, and richie ralph and potsie performing more music in the knew arnolds? thanks again.
