I think thats a good idea, the topic seems to interest a lot of people.

I'd support a video games board. However, even with those 10 topics, I don't know if there is still enough interest in the creation of a board for the topic. It's Todd's call, though.

I would talk about videogames if there was a forum about it, as is, I figure the people in the general forum as a whole dont care, but in a seperate videogame forum I would discuss it

Of course there is. There's tons of games, tons of systems, tons of games to get stuck on, tons of games to anticipate, etc.

I think the reason that video game topics are frowned upon by some members is because it gets annoying if too many topics are posted at once. That's why some members (including myself) were irritated. I love video games, they're my pastime, but I think posting too many topics about it takes up a lot of space and gets annoying.

I'd support a board. But you have to remember that getting a new board doesn't happen very often and I know this being over here for over three years. It took a long time for the TV shows on DVD board to be created.

How many video gamers and hard core video gamers do we have here on the Sitcom's Online boards? Because we don't even have a special area on Chit Chat or the whole Sitcoms Online message boards areas where we video gamers can post about video games. It would also be awesome if they made a special section dedicated to video games by title like they did with most TV drama series. So please post what you think and vote too.

Eh, I don't know. I like video games, but I don't think it would be very popular on these boards.

They said the same thing about drama series the first year these boards opened up. It's just a new frontier and a new idea. Let's just hope and give it a try. Hopefully TJ opens such a board up for us video gamers to post about video games only.

robyrob, most of those links do lead to video game message boards, but those message boards cost a monthly toll, and I don't beleive in toll. I hate toll roads, toll phone calls, toll this, toll that, and I definitely hate message boards that costs a toll(fee) per month. Don't fall for those toll guys, man. They'll charge you a toll per month just to post a few meagerly words.

There are other boards here that have nothing to do with Television, like the music boards; the random boards; the games board. Why not Video games?!
I don't think it should be divided by titles though. That's way too much! One board would be fine.

I can take or leeave the board idea,but I do like video games.I regularly play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and The Sims.

I WAS going to vote No first because I hate video games, but then I thought hey if there's a separate board for it then they won't have to talk about it HERE! So, I voted YES :D

Then we won't have to see all the video game threads here and they can have their own board to themselves.

I don't know how many people there are out there but I am an avid video game player. I feel that there should be a separate spot for people to talk about anything game related whether it be about the games, the systems... etc.

I think it will be great if we can get a "Video Game" discussion spot as a sub-forum within the ChitChat board; where the movies, music, and politics thread are.

I don't see very many video game related threads on the main Chit Chat board. We probably have too many sub-forums as it is without adding more for video games, books, jokes, etc. There has to be some topics left for the main board.

I asked for one over a decade ago when the forum was a lot more busy and it was declined.

There's just not a lot of video game talk here. I put all video game related stuff in Movies if they come about.
