Does anyone know how columbia house music works? i know you get your first 12 cds free but not sure how the rest works?

its kinda weird...my friends mom belongs to bmg and its kinda cool...that didnt help much sorry

avoid Columbia House at all costs... do BMG if you insist on doing a music club. Columbia House is a huge ripoff.

you get 12 CDs for a cent each, shipping and handling is around 3 dollars a CD

you need to buy 6 CDs within the next two years at full price, or else they will charge you the full amount for all the CDs. They give you decent deals, like buy one and get two half off or something.

The CD club has a terrible selection, and doesnt get CDs until long after they get released. At least that's how it was two years ago or so when I was in it.

I am in the DVD club now (just completed my membership) it is much better.

ya i think ill avoid CH. i just picked 12 cds and there was a total for 30.00 and i bet it was for shipping. so i said forget it lol. ill see what bmg is

I say do neither get your CDs at a store or online. I did BMG and cancelled and they won't leave me alone last time they called I had to yell at them and threaten them if they didn't take me off the list. It's not worth the trouble besides their CDs are more expensive.

^I agree, don't even bother dealing with Columbia House OR BMG. They seems like a good deal at first, but in the long run they become a pain.

...I love Columbia House DVD club...but I buy enough DVDs that I just grab stuff there if I'm buying a few at once or if they happen to have a good deal
