"Too Close" Starring Betty White, Doris Roberts, Ed Asner, Joan Collins, Harriet Sansom Harris, Kirstie Alley, and Judith Light.
It is about two widowed sisters: Helen and Ann Marie (Betty White, Doris Roberts) who just so happen to move into the house next-door to their brother and sister-in-law: Ed and Phyllis (Ed Anser, Joan Collins). Ed's sisters and Phyllis do NOT by any means get along and have been like this for 55 years, when Ed started to date Phyllis. Ed and Phyllis's only daughter, Cindy (Harriet Sansom Harris) is a real estate agent who sold her aunts the house next to her parents's home. Cindy just got a divorce from her husband recently, her ex got his mistress as she got the house. Helen's daughter, Rebecca (Kirstie Alley) and Ann Marie's daughter, Angela (Judith Light) are in the real estate business too. Angela and Rebecca are real close with Cindy and always have ever since they could remember. Cindy, Rebecca, and Angela are around so their moms won't kill each other and for moral support.
In the pilot, Ann Marie and Helen move into the house next to Ed and Phyllis's house. Phyllis blames Cindy for letting her sisters-in-law move into the house next-door. Rebecca, Cindy, and Angela decide to start up their own real estate agency together, and be their own bosses.
