Hello Lolac! I was just wondering where you were. Early August was the last time that I heard from you.

Guys,
I was wondering the same thing. I know she went on vacation earlier, bit I guess it's possible she's out of town again - or just plain busy.
Lolac, tell us you haven't gone back to Twilo!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I spent the last 2 weeks on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We were in a wonderful beach house north of Corolla and had a truly wonderful time. I thought my husband would bring his laptop so we would have computer access, so you can imagine my surpise when he didn't! Anyway, that's why you hadn't heard from me for awhile. We had the remains of TS Bonnie the first Thursday and 2 days later we had TS Charley, (which was a category 4 hurricane when it hit FL.) All in all it was quite an adventure, but it is so great to be back here!!

Hi Lolac! I live in a small town outside of Hickory, N.C. Where do you live?

I live in Fairfax Station, VA (just outside of Washington, DC.) The Outer Banks is normally a 4 to 5 hour drive from here but it took us 10 hours to get home yesterday. NC is a popular place to be with us Virginians!

Welcom back, Lolac!
I was hoping you're absence was only temporary. I'm glad you had a nice break from your "day-to-day." and I'm glad you survived the tropical storm!

Welcome back Lolac! I'm glad you had a nice time. We go down to Nags Head every summer too. We usually stay near the Wright Brother's museum in a hotel called the Colony IV. We always go to Diamond Shoals to play mini-golf (I always beat my husband ;)) and to Bob's Grill for the best prime rib! :D
