Who here hates those forwarded emails?


I hate them because 99% of the time they're some sappy story written by some naive idiot about how friendship is important. Also, getting forwards usually means your friends are too lazy to write you a real message.

I agree with you, for me they are usually "if you don't send this to 10 people in the next 5 minutes, you'll die by the end of the week"

I hate them except the jokes. The ones I hate the most are the political ones. :mad:

Damn forwards to hell.. they are so irritating. By now I've died 12 times, been haunted by some dead girl who got brutally murdered, been dumped by my crush, lost my friend, gone bankrupt, and have received bad luck for the next hundred-thousand years.

I used to get like 20 a day- now I rarely get them, but they're still annoying. Last one I got was called "Perfect Boyfriend"- about what guys should do on a date with a girl to be perfect- then the whole "send it to 10 ppl" crap at the end.

Sometimes they're funny, or depressing- thoguh usually crap. I hate the ones that say if you send to 5 people a magic butterfly or something will fly across the screen!!!

What's weird is most of the forwards I get now stay within my school- it's started by someone at my school- and ends up being received by everyone going to it. It depresses me cos looking at who sent the message to who- it seems everyone in my class is in contact with each other- with the exception of me!!!

*raises hand* I do. Now I only get one maybe once a month, if that. :lol:

I don't like them either. I usually don't even bother reading them. I just delete them right off the bat.

um well last night i kind of sent several people here some useful cooking tips. :crying:

Omg! Yes, I hate those. The most annoying ones are what a couple co-workers send me. These little stories or coupons that they didn't bother to check out at snopes.com before sending it along.

I don't really mind forwards as long as I don't get more than two or three a day and has long as they are not really long! I send only the good natured forwards...1 forward a week. I know that most of my friends don't check their e-mail as often as I do, so I only try to send one a week, unless they've asked me not to send them forwards, and I respect that. I also forward "real" e-mails, and my friends don't mind it at all.

:livid: I hate them, if I get them they probably come to my junk mail folder, which gets deleted without me opening it :D

It upsets me when people just send me forwards all the time, and not really any "real" e-mails. I send forwards, but I also send "real" e-mails too because I like to write, and b/c I know my friends will most likely enjoy a "real" e-mail from me instead of forwards all the time.

*I always fill out those surveys I get in my inbox, and get some replies. Most of my friends are amazed that I take the time to fill those out, and one of my good friends says every time she reads a survey from me, she gets to know more about me each time I send it to her. :) That's nice to know! :)

I emailed out a universal note to everyone in my address book to stop sending political forwards. (I don't need their help thank you very much!) So far it has worked!:D



The ones that really irritate me are all the obvious "urban legends" about viruses, worms, kidnappings, missing persons, etc. I never forward anything like that unless I have absolute proof of their existence.(which is almost never) And even then I tell everyone to look it up!:rolleyes:

i filter and delete any emails that im not expecting without reading them.

I hate those "forwards" too! 9/10 times I don't even read them - I either skim it or erase it! They take up so much unnecessary space in my inbox!

Although, the ones with pictures are cute!

I hate all forwards, unless it's a survey! For some reason I'm a sucker for those stupid little surveys!

Sometimes it gets annoying.

I don't mind forwards that have jokes in them. I always read those and forward them onto people. I hate the ones that say forward this to ten people or you'll have 7 years bad luck or something. I always delete those. To me, emails like that are a bunch of crap.

To generalize the HAte you all seem to carry, I can tell if I don't want a forward, I delete pronto, and it's true ofen there is good info in some forwards....geeeezzzzzzzz
