As for me, in addition to (of course) Purple Rain, Under The Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge, I'll be getting Raising Victor Vargas. That's a movie I love and I'm looking forward to hearing the commentary and the other bonus features they'll have on the disc.

Oh man! I remember seeing that one in a theater when I was a kid! I thought Linda Blair was so hot!

I have an old VHS of Roller Boogie. My wife and I watch it once in a while and just roar:lol:

Really really BAD acting and an extremely cheesy story. I still love the movie though. It's great to watch for nostalgic reasons.

I will definately add Roller Boogie to my DVD collection!

If the new Purple Rain dvd didn't have all the bonus features, I would actually look forward to Under The Cherry Moon more, just because I haven't watched it in a while and always liked the campy fun of it. No matter how many people think it sucks, UTCM is a fun movie.

The first dvd I ever bought was the first Purple Rain dvd, and I never watched it. I know the movie by heart from all the times I watched my old vhs and I just never set aside a time to watch the whole thing on dvd. Being the Prince fanatic that I am, I had to make PR my first dvd purchase, and aside from checking out a scene or two, it's sat on the shelf all this time. I'll be all over the new one though.

I might buy "The Girl Next Door," and "The Laws of Attraction."

same here, if it wasn't for the bonus features and the upgrade from pan-and-scan to widescreen, I'd be more excited about UTCM. I doubt I'll get Graffiti Bridge though unless I can find it for under $10.
