The only DVD on that list I'm remotely interested in is Boy Meets World, and I'm not even sure if I want that show yet...

A few months ago, I would have definitely said I'd get "The Apprentice" because I love the show, but I'm not sure it holds up well to repeated viewings. I wouldn't mind having the Benny Hill set or Boy Meets World, but if I ever get those, it won't be right away. And New Zoo Revue, just to look back at a show I loved as a little kid.

is it me or is Boy Meets World more popular NOW than when it was actually in first-run? Seems like teenagers all over the place love that show today... I was a teen when the show was on, and most everyone I knew watched Friends and Seinfeld instead at 14, not BMW. Not a pro or bash (I've never seen the show), just an observation

Hmmmmm in a way it is, but it was pretty popular in it's original run too.

I guess it's gotten more popular thanks to being in syndication on Disney Channel and ABC Family now :)

Boy Meets World (A show I've wanted for a long time.)
Futurama (I'll finally own the entire series!)
The Munsters (Since there were only 2 seasons, I'll own half the series.)

Maybe later, "Night Gallery."

Boy Meets World is the only one I can see that I am interested in (I only like the early years of that show, anyway).

wow, Futurama is actually ahead of Boy Meets World. So awesome to know how many other fans there are in here. Usually 90% of the time, I'm the only person who votes for my pick of the week (I recall being the only person who voted for Buffy season 6 on May 25th)

Ahh, the last Tuesday in May.... always time for Cheers and Frasier.

I definately think so.

Let me think, when I was 14 I was watching.... Cheers (about 9 years after it ended, but who cares?!)

Im a fan of all 3 (Boy Meets World, Friends and of course Seinfeld)

If we only knew how to find out how TVDVDs sell.... I predict BMW and Futurama to be big hits.

When I made that "World At War" crack in my first post in this thread (of course) I was kidding. I expected to see a BMW landslide in this poll, but Futurama is holding its own.

you'd be surprised at the followings Fox animated series' have. Simpsons and Family Guy were (well, Chappelle might've knocked FG to #3) the top 2 biggest selling tv-DVD's ever. Futurama's not quite as big as those two (i.e., it's gone for good, FG is coming back thanks to huge DVD sales) but it does have a built-in audience thanks to Groening fans who wanna see his other work besides Simpsons.

At their bests, The Simpsons is better.
But a lot of Futurama episodes are better than episodes of The Simpsons.

I used to love The Simpsons. Now I can't stand them. I love Futurama, like Family Guy and like King of the Hill. I think if any of them was going to have a movie in the theater, I'd go see Futurama.

Remember this is the FINAL DVD set for Futurama. Every episode will be on DVD this Tuesday. Whereas the other shows, it's just the first season. So there are people all set to complete their Futurama collection.

DVD has made me a big fan of Futurama. I never really watched it on FOX. But once I bought the first set on DVD, I was hooked.

Best Buy is selling it for $32.99, but they are also having a buy "Buy 2 Get $10 Off" sale.
Buy 3 and get $20 Off.
Buy all 4 and get $40 off. (and I may just do that)
Season 1 is $32.99
Season 2 is $40.99
and Season 3 is $40.99
But with $40 off, you get the whole series for just $112.96.
And I may just do that.

The last time someone posted on this thread I still subscribed to Pay TV (But was questioning WHY was I paying for this). :angryfire I was also saving up to go on an Amusement Park Hopping Trip in Brazil (This trip never occured, but I've been with my church on a mission trip to Brazil four times (2005, 2007, 2010 and 2011)).
