my "Monk" DVD today. I got to the last episode of season 1 and, as many of you know, Tim Daly was a guest star. The episode saw Monk (Tony Shalhoub) in an airplane. Tim Daly played himself. Anyways, when Monk's assistant, Sharona told Monk that she just saw Tim Daly,

Sharona: Monk, It's Tim Daly!

Monk: Who's he?

Sharona: He's a famous actor. He was in the sitcom "Wings."

Monk: Never heard of it.

Then later when Sharona is talking to Tim in first class, Monk comes by and tells the stewardess that she's not allowed in first class. Tim gets offended, since he's befriended Sharona.

Tim Daly: You Freakin' Tattle Tale.

Monk: (To the Stewardess) Tim Daly just called me a Freakin' Tattle Tale. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Being a Wings fan, I hate to say it. But I think I like Tony Shalhoub more as Adrian Monk than Antonio Scarpacci.

BTW, the lines are not exact, they're just the best I could remember them. But the basic jokes are still there.

Monk never heard of Tim Daly?!! Gee, what are the odds?!!:lol: Oh, good ole Adrian. Yeah, I saw that episode and I love how they set that scene up with Tim. I really wish Tony Shalhoub would ask some of the other Wings cast to be on his show.

Sidenote:The man sitting next to Sharona on the plane, the one selling the extension cords, in that episode is Garry Marshall, who's responsible for Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley(Penny Marshall is his sister, of course), and he's also directed quite a few movies like Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride & Soapdish, and he also stars in a few of them, too.

Anyhoo, the woman who plays Sharona is Bitty Schram and she was in the movie "A League of their Own", which also had Garry Marshall in it and was directed by Penny.

I like Monk, too. It's one of the few shows that I watch on a regular basis. Eventually, I'm going to get the 1st season on DVD, because I haven't seen all the episodes.
