Good Times-(season 1), the Evans Family had more problems that season than the entire series.

Boy Meets World Season 7 you could tell the show was coming to an end, but at the same time, there was still a lighthearted feel to it. Plus Eric was freaking hilarious, I laugh more at the episodes from that season than any other.

Cheers - Season 11. Everything fit perfectly. It was the perfect end to the perfect sitcom.

Seinfeld - Season 4. The show within the show was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Frasier - Season 2. Frasier and Niles grew closely together, while becoming even bigger rivals. Meanwhile, Roz became more a part of the gang, and Niles' obsession with Daphne was at its best.

Happy Days - Season 4. Things got a lot interesting when the Fonz became the lead character. Remember the two-parter where Fonzie jumped the cans?

Three's Company - Season 4. Chrissy got blonder, dumber, and more hilarious than ever. Hello Mr. Furley aka Don Knotts!

The Lucy Show - Season 1. The situations that Lucy got into were more believable and hilarious than any other season of the show.

Gilligan's Island - Season 2. The switch to color (from B&W).

The Brady Bunch - Season 5. The Brady Kids were older.

I agree with you about Three's Company. Season 4 was the season of TC that really stood out.

Most of my other favs I like basically all seasons equally.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - season 6. Buffy's back from the dead, the characters are all adults (well, except Dawn) by this time. Plus, I loved the detours it took when they made Buffy and Spike sexual. Also, the whole Willow magic overdose really was great for the program. This season more than any proves that Buffy is actually an ensemble piece, and that the other actors were just as good and important to the show as Buffy/Gellar herself.

Roswell - season 1. Definately a case of a show that peaked early. It started it's downfall towards the end of the first season when they added the character Tess (season 3 was much better than season 2 because Tess barely appeared). But above that, it's the only season that the cast are believable as teens. By season 2, the fact they're supposedly high school students was getting unbelievable, and then by season 3, the fact they were high school seniors seemed crazy as they were NEVER in class anymore and it all seemed like they were in college. When the final episode aired and the characters graduated high school, you forgot they were still students because it felt like they had been out. Plus, the love affair between Max and Liz was at it's freshest in season 1.

Sex And The City - season 2. At this point, the show was still "fresh" and the ladies all really had gotten settled in to their parts by this time. The writing was at it's funniest, and Carrie's doomed second affair with Mr. Big had more heart to it than their rendezvous in season 1 that also ended in breaking up that year. Season 3 is very closely behind this. But when Michael Patrick King took over from Darren Starr in season 4, the series went to hell slowly by turning a 100% comedy into a dramatic soap opera.

Facts Of Life - season 3. Ratings don't lie, I think this was the best season of FOL. Jo had already had her introduction and the girls were all Eastland students. I don't know what it was but they really kept knocking them out of the park this season. Subsequent seasons were all decent, but none of them ever really duplicated the 81-82 season, but season 8 is definately as close as any of them came.

I Love Lucy- Season 1- The funniest shows were almost all in the first season

The Andy Griffith Show- Season 1- Writing was great

I guess a lot of shows were at their best in season 1 (3rd Rock, Everybody Loves Raymond, etc.). After that they went downhill.

Season 7 ,...MTM .....best shows ever ...Chuckles Bites the Dust and the Finale ......


Season 8 Friends....in a season that started with a wedding and ended with a birth...could things BE any more complicated as Monica and Chandler start married life...Ross dates Mona with an expectant Rachel who is loved by Joey...some of the best eps are in this season including the birth ...and the brad pitt appearance .....and of course Phoebe...

Family Ties - Season 4 (I loved the Alex and Ellen relationship and the writing in this season was at its all time best)

Spin City - Season 3 (Everyone was at their best and I loved thw Mike and Nikki relationship. Although after this season everything went downhill :( )

I'll do my top five list.

NewsRadio, Season 4, 1997-1998 It had gotten crazier than how the series originally started out, but Phil Hartman and Andy Dick gave their best performances in this season. The whole group in fact did their best. Sadly, it would be Phil Hartman's last.

Taxi, Season 2, 1979-1980 This season introduced Jim Ignatowski as a cab driver. I just like the whole season. Season 2 had most of the classics.

Wings, Season 6, 1994-1995 It had the nice story arch, Joe and Helen getting ready for their wedding. Plus Thomas Haden Church was at his best as Lowell Mather.

Ellen, Season 3, 1995-1996 Jeremy Piven joins as Ellen's cousin Spence, Arye Gross leaves the series. The bookstore gets remodeled after an earthquake. And Ellen tries to find herself. Every episode in this season makes me laugh out loud. I can't say that for many shows.

Boy Meets World, Season 5, 1997-1998 Eric was at his funniest. Shawn's life was interesting. Eric, Shawn and Jack moved into the apartment together. The classic graduation episode. It was funny and emotional. A bumpy ride all season long. Although Season 7 was good, Season 5 was the last great season of the show, in my opinion.
