does anybody know the name of the episode where Archie and the Meathead argue about how to put on socks. It cracks me up and I always end up seeing it but have not taped it yet. I belive it is from a latter episode beacuse Gloria was pregant.

That was "Gloria Sings the Blues" from Season Four.

Interestingly enough, I remember an interview with Rob Reiner from years ago who mentioned that this scene was based on an actual incident. He'd been putting on his shoes and socks like Meathead did, and Carroll O'Connor interrupted and asked him what the heck he was doing. :)

I think the classic All in the Family episodes are the ones where Archie and Mike get into it over issues.

I like the one where Edith has a difficult time talking to Gloria about the birds and the bees before getting married.

Classic stuff!
