I got home from work very late last night and started watching this episode while it was airing. I haven't seen this 2-parter in a long time. I guess I missed it other times it was in rotation on N&N. I just wanted to say that I laughed all through this episode!! I forgot how funny this one was.

When some of the gang was rehearsing for Phantom of the Oprah, and Lowell was saying he only had an easy one line. Them he said "Excuse me, Ms. Winfrey...LINE!" Then when he was subbing for the phantom and he kept swinging on that rope during rehearsal.

When Brian told Joe they couldn't get a refund for the cello, they only could get store credit, and Joe says "We have a $15,000 store credit at a music store? Great, we can start that marching band we've always talked about!":lol:

Oh, and the freaky musicians in the quartet! Spengel yelling "Shut up, Johnny"! Too funny!

hahaha yeah!! That guy makes me laugh so hard!!

and I love it when he says something like, "The fact that I am so ANGRY that it feels like my BRAIN is about to explode OUT OF MY HEAD and across the ROOOOMMM!!... should be of no concern to you."

Yeah, and since seeing "The Gift" two-parter, I haven't been able to think of OPRAH WINFREY in quite the same way again! :eek:

"The Gift" is one of my favorite episodes too... both parts are awesome! :D I love how Helen has to get that job at the plant gutting fish and her struggles in playing her cello with "The Addams Family" as she called them. :lol: It was so funny when Roy said, "They're taking a hell of a chance coming out in the daylight." The whole "Phantom of the Oprah" thing is hilarious too. "Phantoms, shmantoms, I don't believe in phantoms, I never have, I never shall, not I, I believe in me and that's the thing you see, that gets me by, that gets me by." :)
