Dannie IsNotHere 08-13-2004, 03:21 PM Wow... I don't know why, but I couldn't picture The Nanny on N@N... but I guess by 2009 it will be a pretty old show.
TVJunkie101 08-13-2004, 06:35 PM I agree. I actually really like The Nanny but I think it's a weird show for N@N to have picked up. JMO. As I said, I'll watch it, but still, imo, an odd choice, not a bad one, but an odd one.
JDS84 08-13-2004, 08:31 PM Thats awesome :D
NostalgiaAce777 09-09-2004, 12:27 PM Well if you think Lifetime cuts and edits the shows sad deal for the Nanny. Cable is both a Godscend and a pain. It is great we have cable because old shows in syndication, OTH, There is so much commercial sponsership needed that the time for the shows are cut for more commercials that promote them.
BTW how do you go about finding out what shows are coming to N@N or TV LAND?
Fran=Lucy 09-14-2004, 03:24 PM The Nanny on N@N??? hm, I don't like N@N since the channel took I Love Lucy and all the other shows out of their programming but, hey! let's just hope that by 2009 we at least have a couple of seasons on DVD. :D
NostalgiaAce777 09-14-2004, 11:23 PM This is one show I would like to have on DVD. I have been pretty dissappointed in cable sice they seem to cut and edit all these wondaful shows. I LL Nanny GG and so on. I love the episode where Fran gets married and they show her talking to LUUUUUCY, But Life time edited it out of the syndicated version :(

I liked way back when N@N was playing great things, like Mary Tyler Moore, I love Lucy, and, of COURSE, Cheers. It doesn't seem very "classic" anymore. It's crazy.

That's why they have TVLAND to air the "classics" :)
NostalgiaAce777 09-15-2004, 11:43 PM Yeah that is "supposedly" what it's for, but really they don't show too many of the classics anymore. What is the sam hill is Family Ties doing on TV Land? I thought all the neo classics were strictly on N@N. I think they need to get rid of twice as nice and open those slots to more programming, get some new shows on both N@N and Tv Land. JMO Tho.

That scene is cut out in non-syndicated airings too.
Scoobiedoo30 09-16-2004, 01:05 PM It will be great to see The Nanny on Nike@Nite I hope that Nike@Nite airs The Nanny in a Good Time Period.

Family Ties is a classic, same as Cheers etc.

Oriole Adams 10-25-2004, 04:20 PM 2009? Only five years to wait? LOL I hope Lifetime continues to show it in the meantime. And I hope to God that "The Nanny" replaces some of the gawdawful N@N offerings like "Fresh Prince" or "Full House."

browneyes106 04-27-2009, 01:21 AM I can't wait to see the show on NAN.
angel676 05-13-2009, 07:42 PM As thrilled as I am that The Nanny is on N@N, I'm not happy about the hours that it's on, 11:00pm - 12:00am then 4:00am - 5:00am, I'm in the Eastern Time Zone, most people are in bed during those hours. I wish N@N had chosen decent hours for the fans to watch The Nanny. Well I'm done ranting!!
