Fred Savage Weds Childhood Friend
The Associated Press
NEW YORK - Actor Fred Savage has wed his childhood friend. The former "Wonder Years" star and Jennifer Stone were married Aug. 7 at the Los Angeles restaurant L'Orangerie.
The two were neighbors until 1988, when Savage, now 28, moved from a suburb of Chicago to Los Angeles after winning the role of Kevin Arnold on the nostalgic television show. Eleven years later, the two met up at his birthday party. Stone, a commercial real estate agent, is also 28.
"We started talking and smooching and we've been together ever since," Savage told People Magazine.
Savage has appeared in the short-lived sitcom "Working," and in films "Austin Powers in Goldmember" and "Welcome to Mooseport."
