"The Chief's Indigestion" closes the door to the character of the Chief. Taking place exactly after the episode "Julie's Birth", this episode is like part 2 of the episode. It continues where the last one left off.
Short synopsis:
It is the morning after Julie's 18th birthday. Nell tries to keep the Chief from finding out Julie and Jonathan married, and keep him out of the kitchen, but he manages to get into it after about a minute of so, and once there he goes haywire on Jonathan for what he did, but didn't do (kindnap Julie). He gets worse when he appologizes for the way he acted when he hugs Julie and holds her hands, seeing the ring, after accepting that the two only went to Vegas to Celebrate her 18th birthday. WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THAT?
The Chief gets the idea of Breakfast right after seeing the ring, and you know the Chief and food. Nell refers to his habit in this episode as "Obsessive Compulisve Eating".
A fitting ending to the Character of the Chief. This ties in him at his best and what he was usually doing on the show during the four years he was on. (Eating, arguing, cracking a few jokes...and a few memorable ones in this episode).
READ. ENJOY. THIS IS JUST AS IF YOU WER WATCHING IT ON NBC IN MAY OF 1985!
