Is it me, or did Sam sound different in the last season? He didn't have that Southern Accent, or didn't use it much!

Yeah, I kinda noticed that too. I watched the wedding ep. and I just finished watching bulima, and I noticed the little change in his voice.

Maybe they pulled an Andy Griffith Show during that season. If you like The Andy Griffith Show, you'll notice how in the first few seasons Andy sounded very hick. I think towards the color seasons, Andy totally dropped the hick in the accent.

I don't know if Danny chose to drop the hick in his voice, or if the directors directed him to. I hope that made sense. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]
