According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, Lizzie McGuire: Season 1 is coming to DVD later this year! How cool is that!? I never would have thought this would happen. The set will even include extras including audio commentaries! Now, I can only hope they also plan on releasing all 3 seasons of Even Stevens on DVD...now THAT would also rock!

Thats awesome news. I checked out the article at TVshowsonDVD.com just now, sounds pretty real. I'm really glad to hear about season DVD sets being released. I hate the "Best of" type of DVD's where theres a bunch of mixed up episodes of a show on it.

As for the price, I bet it'll sell in stores for around $40 or so. (this is just a guess, I could be way off...) There are 31 episodes in Season 1, plus the set is supposed to have audio commentaries and stuff, which is awesome. I hope Disney is quick about releasing Season 2, so then we can have the whole series on DVD. :cool:

I agree that we should get back on topic, went a bit overboard on continuing that. Now that I'm in charge of keeping this board in line, there will be no fighting. Anyhow...

If it is only $40 thats not too bad at all for 31 episodes plus some special features. I too hope season 2 is released quickly, it would be awesome to own the entire series on DVD.

they might charge a little less so it's younger fanbase will get it. where as they know BMW's core fanbase are older.

According to TV Tome, Season 1 of Lizzie McGuire is 31 episodes long, and Season 2 is 34 episodes long. (this info might not be 100% accurate, but they're usually a pretty good source)

TVShowsOnDVD.com has an update for the first set. Lizzie McGuire: Season 1 will be released on November 23rd, and the MSRP is $49.99 (it will definitely be cheaper in stores...) The set will contain 4 discs. You can pre-order the set at Amazon.com, where it is selling for $34.99.

that's right season 1 does but it's season 2 who were supposedly filmed all at once because of an actors strike or something

if season 1 contains all 30 some episodes than maybe the second set will contain the rest unless they split it up into 3 seasons like it should of been
