Psst, dudes don't tell anyone...

Your old buddy TJL is playing hooky from work today.

I woke up at my usual time this morning and I was overcome with the urge to blow off work. Why fight it, I thought, and I called in sick.

I just took a nice ride on my bike, and I'm now going to change and have some breakfast. I hope to also catch up on a few errands and work on another DVD review.

If anyone needs me I'll be faking a sore knee while I read the paper.

Seriously though, I feel like doing that everyday. I have to force myself to get out of bed each morning.

I am proud. Laziness is always a good thing, in my opinion. :D Which is why I'm not going to work today, either.

last year when i wanted to go home really bad i went to the office and told them i felt sick and they just let me go home. i only did it twice in the whole year (actually 3 times because i really was sick one time) so its not like theyd get suspicious.

A few years ago whenever i wanted to stay home from school i'd plan out this complicated process, making myself look sick, planning how and when im gonna make my mom think i am sick etc. I did an awesome job one time in 7th grade when i wanted to miss school because i didn't want to go on a field trip. Now i realize all i have to do is say i feel nauseus(sp?) or whatever and the school and my dad will believe it, but that was still worth the memory.

I never had the guts to do that in JH/HS. Just college. My roommate used to give me dirty looks, but like I really cared what she thought.

The first time I ever got really trashed was when I was a junior..just had a couple friends over, along with my cousin. Ended up not going to school the next day; I had a semi-hangover, along with plenty of messes to clean up, including my buddy's puke. Good times.

Another time my friend and I just decided to skip school, and we played PS2 all day. Man that was fun.

I try to go to the nurses office at least 1-2 times every 2 weeks:D Usually more. School is the biggest waste of time I've ever participated in.

I would rather have stayed home then go in and have stuff forced oin me I wasnt interested in.......
