Will it be a bunch of new people? Will everyone who's here now still be here? Will they even still be here? What do you think?

hopefulyl the people who are here now grow up

I don't know now really, if you mean in the next 4 years or so it is most likely that most of the popular members will still be here. If you mean 15 or 20 years I would think by then we would have better technology or something, I still hope though that all the threads from the board would be saved somewhere.

I'm never leaving this board, it's impossible. Plus everyone here hates me and i hate them so staying here will annoy them. In fact, i am thinking of one person in particular who would hate that because i know they want me off the board so badly. :)

And hopefully a lot of people will grow up.

I hope this board still exists in the future. It would be cool. I might not come to this board as often say ten years from now, but every once in awhile I would pop in and say hi.

I'll be here Foreva...I'll just...keep coming back when there's nothing to do. Better be here forever or I'll shoot something.

I have no intention of leaving these boards for good...until the Cubbies win the World Series.

I'm gonna be here a while folks....

This place better last forever. I will still be posting for a long time. Eventually I'll probably not come as much... but that won't be for years and years.

A few years down the road many people probably won't be here or won't come here as often. The kids are growing up, getting out of the house and doing new things. There were several people who were here on a regular basis 2/3 years ago who I no longer see. I'm sure there will be many more new members as these boards grow and new shows are added.

I'll be posting here even where there's no board ;) j/k :lol:

Hopefully it will be around a long time to come :woohoo:

I Assure you all that things will be pretty much the same when i take over as owner one day. :D

I hope these boards will always be here .. sadly, my life is here :lol: Even when I get older, I'll stop in and post.

I don't see how you could be banned permanently if the child molestor isn't even for sure banned forever.

Hopefully history will repeat itself and the boards will go back to being good like they used to be.

Who knows, the boards have changed soooo much.

Any other oldtimers remember the "FOL Invasion"? One day there were a handfull of people talking about each sitcom on it's board- next the we know- bam- a ton of new people obsessed with the same show. Now the few remaining from that are the oldtimers... :lol:
I still remember when Princess Feenster told me that TJ had added avatars and colored text. That was quite exciting. ;)

In the future- well, I wont be here much since I start college in a couple weeks....probably keep going w/ the fights, the ups and downs, new people, etc...

That is an excellent point. He's done way worse than anything i've ever done in his time being here. I've never asked for peoples bra sizes and told them i wanted to have sex with them. I was recently suspended for 1) defending myself from **** ericidlefan was talking about me, there were people being meaner to her than i was, and 2) because i'm hated by the authorities here. obviously. i have no idea from the bottom of my heart what i did and no one has been willing to tell me with all the times ive asked, and i dont care anymore because people make me sick anyways :)

I dont get how everyone bitches about how bad the boards are, yet they still post in them like crazy. I agree the boards have changed and that this site just draws you in, but it still doesnt make sense to me.:grr:

I wish people werent so uptight sometimes. It seems some people treat the newbies differently because theyre either new or theyre young. People have to remember, at one point in time, you were new yourself. New people tend to get over-excited in their posts and threads (c'mon, everyone admits they were like that too), and I think sometimes people should just give them a break.

IMO, the boards havent changed, people have. Only thing thats changed is that we have more smilies, pictures in signs. arent allowed, and he changed the size in our avatars.

You know, I agree with all that. Now that I think about it, it is the people that have changed and not the boards. And there are a lot of uptight people here. I can be one at times. People should be given a break. I mean, I haven't been squeaky clean on these boards and I've had my mouthful to say about certain things, but people do deserve a break. So yeah, I agree with everything you said...

I agree with you to an extent, I've been to boards where they have complete freedom of speech, and those boards are a complete mess, people constantly cussing each other out, you can't have an opinion without getting bashed for it.

So complete freedom of speech can be a bad thing :(

Yeah the people have almost all changed, but a lot of the dynamics are the same, instead of Nate we had "Mindy Roberts from TX." People from various sitcom boards didnt mix as much, plus for awhile FOL was just another board...until the invasion.... ;)

City-data is going thru incredible changes.......

The people who run that site are trying to make it better.... (They would have to get rid of most of thier staff IMO if they really wanna accomplish that)
