so i just got back from cancun, and my connecting flight took me though the charolette (sp??) douglas airport. looking at the Original Cheers Website, there was a Cheers bar there, and i was so psyched to finally make it to "a" cheers bar. we didnt eat when we left cuz we were waiting to eat breakfast at Cheers! lol

neway, we got there. no signs had "Cheers" on it, anywhere. we asked a lady that worked there, and she pointed behind her, and said "it was there." it was just a wall put up. apparently, it closed about a month. however, one of the construction signs, on the back of it, still said "Meet me in Cheers for Breakfast." some mexican restaurant/bar is going in there now i think. it was still a good trip...we ended up eating at chiji's (yea, for breakfast...then again, eating at a "bar" for breakfast...lol)

That would be such a bummer to look forward to something like that and find out it was closed. But hey, you got to go to Cancun.

Kinda like when we drove to Phili to skate LOVE park only to find out it got shut down..
