Now, I have no problem with a sales person coming up to you and asking "May I help you?" or "Would you like to try this product", fine, I don't care, that's there job. But one of my BIGGEST pet peeves is over agressive sales people.

The following are two examples:
At the beach my friend and I walked in a store, the SECOND we walked in some vulture came over to us asking questions and all, we said we were just looking, yet he CONTINUED to follow us around. My friend picked up a skirt that was huge and he's like, "That's $15, but since it's so big and you'll needta put in a drawstring I'll sell it to you for $10." He never gave my friend anytime to think, try on the outfit or anything. So she bought it...and her and I now have pictures of us throwing that thing around, it was ridiculous and it made her look like a cupcake, needless to say she returned it the next day.

Another example from today:
My sister and I were walking into one store from another and one of those vendors with those funky spider things that like massages your head ATTACKED! He's like, "How are you two today?" We said that we're fine. Then he's like, "Well, I'm really really glad that you're fine, that makes me happy..." we smiled like you're a psycho and TRIED to continue to walk but no. He began to describe the product to us and then he's like, "Take off your hat" I just looked at him and was like, "That thing is not touching my head". Normally, I would have been polite, but this guy was a vulture. Than he "explained what we're missing" and the only way he left us alone was when he tried to do it to my sister and she actually dodged out of the way and pulled me into the store my mom was in.

I hate vulturous sales people!

Yeah they suck. The guy at the car dealer that was trying to sell me the car I wanted pissed me off so I told him off and we ended up getting it for $2,000 cheaper. I win.

Yeah, I hate sales people, too. I always say that I'm just looking whenever I get asked if I need help. The only time I need help is when I'm in Sears and want to know where the clothes department is or when I'm at HMV or A and B Sound and I'm looking for a particular CD or DVD. It's onlt when I am looking for something in particular that I would need help. Otherwise it's like please leave me alone and let me shop.

I hate those people at the mall who have the little carts who are all like, "Are your nails natural?"

Me, a friend, and my sister did a survey as to who they ask. I'm a "punk", so I walked by first. Nothing. The sells lady totally ignored me. Then my friend(She's gothic) walked by, defintaly nothing there. But then my really preppy sister walked by and they surrounded her, trying to sell her all of this crap. It really pissed me off!

Sometimes they wont let up........... They keep pestering ya!!!

I hate those types........

I can honestly say I've NOT had this issue in ALL the 65+ yrs I've been in the American way ...

But the over agressiveness of the TECH world, omg if I were a screamer I'd be in a constant Scream......

A little while ago AOL sent me an offer to NOT allow all t he paid ads in and for only 4.99 a month, I deleted that one pronto....

Herb Tarlek has taught numerous salesmen how to be aggressive. Bonus points if they are wearing loud suits.

You think you had it bad? As a teenager, I actually had cosmetic saleswomen aggressively trying to sell me the newest shade of lipstick... and I'm a guy! And it was usually some ugly color I wouldn't kiss a girl with if she was wearing it.
