In this episode, I noticed that during the nominations, there were only two candidates for class president, Wally and Lumpy. When did the third person who won get nominated? Maybe I forgot how it works, do nominations usually keep going throughout a class election? Maybe they had writie in votes.

What happened was that each homeroom nominated a few candidates for the class elections, but each candidate was running against the other candidates in the class, even if they were from a different homeroom.

The teacher, Mr. Hyatt--he sounded like Mr. Foster, Julie's dad. Does anyone know if this is the same actor?

Ross Elliott played both Mr. Hyatt, and Mr. Foster, yes.

Yes that was Mr. Foster I never noticed he had a different name. Wonder why they changed it. That’s Ross Elliot. I guess he later became Mr. Foster.

I wondered also where the Horse came from. Could the horse have been Duke Hathaway? Oh no he was just the Duke. Did anyone notice another Thompson? When Wally’s on the phone with Walter he mentions his friend named Thompson. That name gets more mention than Henderson.

Look up to the 2004 answer, post #2. I think that person got it right. He came from another homeroom.

Mr. Hyatt sure made it clear he didn't want Clarence nominated.

I looked up Ross Elliott on Wikipedia--he also played the TV Director when Lucy was in the Vitametavegamin commercial. Died in 1999.

The funniest episode ever. Vitametavegamin in this bittle lottle. Hilarious moment in TV history.
