Were you ever happy when a character left one of your favorite shows?? Ohh, and -- what show was it??

I was glad that Cindy, Nancy, and Sue Ann left The Facts of Life.... although, being a fan of Molly Ringwald -- I wish she had stayed. (which probably means should wouldnt do all of those John Hughes movies -- so, scratch that)

I prefer Terri too.... but I think the show wouldve been better if they just skipped Cindy.

Also.... Lana -- I was really glad when she left TC.

I was glad when Chrissy left. Three's Company became more well rounded and not so one dimensional. Chrissy got stupider by the 4th season to a point she became unlikeable.

Chrissy was the funniest character on that series, then they bring in Jenny whoses a bad immitation of Chrissy and Terri couldnt act.. it should of ended sooner

The character is named Cindy. The actress was Jennilee Harrison. Get it right.

First of all this was Jenilee Harrison's first acting job when she landed the role of Cindy Snow. She came on the show under some very difficult circumstances with the Suzanne Somers' battle with the show. The energy of 3's Company that season was not there.

Priscilla Barnes brought a totally different spin to the show. She was not into the jiggly blond bombshell that Suzanne Somers put out. Terri was more educated and intellectual which brought Three's Company to a more mature level. Terri had more of a wicked sneaky sense of humor that made the show and dynamics of her, Joyce DeWitt (Janet) and John Ritter (Jack) more enjoyable to watch. You can tell Joyce enjoyed acting with Priscilla than with Suzanne. You can tell there was tension between Joyce and Suzanne. To this day this whole drama is not resolved. Joyce and Priscilla became best friends and from my understanding still is.

The one sitcom departure about which I was happy was Kelly Fox on Coach. To me she was a distraction to the real issue of the show, namely the trials and tribulations of coaching football games in both college and in the NFL.

I liked Cindy,but she wasn't a lot of use after Terri moved in.Maybe a couple episodes,but that's all.

I sometimes think of Terri as a blond Janet

Actually, from about 1977 to 1980, Joyce and Suzanne were good friends. In the behind-the-scenes TC movie, they are shown driving to the set together and they even ran lines together at each other's homes.

Best example ever.

And Cindy sucked on Three's Company, so it was nice to see her go, though they dragged it out.

I'd say I was glad Cindy & Chrissy left. I was sorta also glad the Ropers left. Don Knotts was a good act in. I think I would've gotten really annoyed if they would've continued last 4-5 seasons.

I think just about everyone was happy when Alison Sugarbaker (Juilia Duffy) left "Desiging Women".

I was glad when Ron Rifkin's character, Nick Handris, was written out of One Day At A Time. His character was a total jerk and there was no romantic chemistry between Nick and Ann Romano. Out of all the boyfriends they gave Ann on ODAAT Nick was the worse one. When they took that wretched neighbor off after the second season Jenny. Her character grated on my nerves.

On Too Close for Comfort when they took off the niece, April, after the second season. I did not see any purpose of her on that show. She was not funny.

Yes, if you look at Ellen's 1st season by the second season almost all the characters but Ellen were gone. I was happy with that because they got much better and funnier characters.
