TV Favorites, next month, the new "Hollywood Squares" is leaving syndication for "The Insider".:( I was posting that a few months back. When will the post-Whoopi "Hollywood Squares" reruns is moving to? GSN or PAX. I found this article taken from tvgameshows.net back on June 3rd (I haven't posted it a few months back):

Karen DeThomas Ends as Last "Squares" Champ

Six years of comedy, bluffs and big winnings are at virtual end as "Hollywood Squares said goodbye to its final two regular contestants Friday.

For those who log such trivia, the final champion was Karen DeThomas, who won the last completed match by defeating Aaron Spears.

DeThomas won a trip to Las Vegas as a Secret Square when she disagreed with Judy Gold, who said a Marx Brothers film pictured was "Animal Crackers". Correct film: "At the Circus".

The commercial property manager cracked the $10,000 safe when she picked the hot key of two left on the board. Her total winnings jumped to $25,927.

The last match of the Tom Bergeron series ended uncompleted with the final challenger Marco Russo winning game one for $1,000 as time expired.

For the show's final week, beginning Monday, various show staffers will play against each other for charity.

The show's ticker board featured two nostalgic messages: H2 Thanks for the memories...and It Was Nice Bluffing You.

Here is another article from tvgameshows.net from back on June 6th:

BERGERON ERA OF "HOLLYWOOD SQUARES" COMES TO A CLOSE

Six years of five square wins, Secret Squares and bonus games came to an end Friday as Tom Bergeron rang down the curtain on his era as host of "Hollywood Squares".

On the final day of Staff Appreciation Week, talent coordinator Justin Lillge defeated post production supervisor Sondra Zaharias in three games.

Vicki (Thelma Harper) Lawrence was the last Secret Square but was not called. Zaharias earned $2,500 for her cause, a Safe Place Crisis Center of Lake County (Il.).

Lillge netted five celebrity squares in the bonus round. He failed to pick the hot key to the $10,000 safe, so his charity---the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin---earns a contribution of $5,000.

The match between catering captain Christina Zimmer and executive assistant to the producers Xaque Gruber went four questions before the program end horn sounded. Martin Mull fielded the final question.

Both players' charities, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (Zimmer) and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Gruber) were awarded checks for $5,000.

In the shows final minutes, Bergeron called the show's staff and the stars came to the stage. Before the assembled group, Bergeron said: "These are the people who have brought you "Hollywood Squares. From all of us, to all of you, all the best. It's a wrap! Bye, everybody!"

Thirteen weeks of the best of the season's episodes will follow with no originals airing in July as in past years.

This is your last chance to watch "Hollywood Squares" reruns this Friday in syndication before "The Insider" starts this Monday.:(

The final "Squares" reruns will be on tomorrow night on channel 2, if it doesn't come on tomorrow due to the Yankee game, other stations in the New York State including Albany will pick up the final rerun episode. How you know that since I posted that article from the tvgameshow.net archive. It was from June 6th.
