View Full Version : Is it AUGUST or am I mistaken?
Ewan's My Man 08-07-2004, 03:35 PM Ok, I live in Maryland, all last week it was 100, and now, it's like 70...not that I'm complaining the weathers great...but now, ON TOP OF THAT, Jingle All the Way is on ABC Family. A Christmas movie...in August! Somebody please confirm that it TRULY is August and not like November or something...
ThirteenInchEscape 08-07-2004, 03:37 PM been 70 with storms here
heats up again next week though:mad:
Michael [hXc] 08-07-2004, 03:38 PM Oh to me it's August. I have that "school's almost starting" feeling and regardless of weather or TV movies that makes it August:) But yeah for where I live this was a fairly cold summer.
PZelda 08-07-2004, 03:41 PM That was one crazy summer. The temps were on a rollercoaster all summer long.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 08-07-2004, 03:51 PM I love it when it's in the 60's/70's. Pants rule http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/icons/icon8.gif
~LadyJess~ 08-07-2004, 03:55 PM Yeah one day here it was in the high 80's, the next we barely made it to 60 and hit a record low...gotta love Michigan weather.
crystals 08-07-2004, 04:19 PM Yep, it's definetely August. This summer isn't exactly the best where I am either. Today there was some rain. But, I don't mind rain too much. It's better than snow. I think I've seen at least one Christmas commercial on tv. I always think it's disrespectful to be thinking about Christmas before Rememberance Day.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-07-2004, 04:45 PM I cant believe next week itll be mid-August! Its crazy. I cant wait for October. And I want the weather below 60 from now on please.
Hollow 08-07-2004, 05:23 PM it's gonna be winter soon. meaning my depression is gonna kick in a lot more and i'll be eviller.

9121522516113 08-07-2004, 08:11 PM It's like 65 here on Long Island. Which is usually what the weather's like in September. It's bizaar.

 I was so cold today. But I'd rather be cold than sweating my butt off.
Brent88 08-07-2004, 08:13 PM 60 here this morning and only 84 this afternoon! That may not seem cool to some of you, but when it's normally 74 in the morning and 96 in the afternoon with sweltering humidity, it's GREAT. On top of that, the dewpoints are in the 50'S(normally in the low to mid 70s), making it actually livable outside. But, it's back to reality by Monday. :(

You start on my b-day. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=1959694
And Brent, damn, that's early. When I was in high school, I'd get done the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and go back at the end of August. My school system 0wnz y00.
Mr. Television 08-08-2004, 12:32 AM It was very cold today.

Allison, I was married in September of 1985 when you were just a little baby girl. Here I was, planning for the biggest day of my life, and here you were. :crybaby:

I know what you mean - I saw 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' on Cartoon Network 3 weeks ago! It was a surreal experience. Watching a Christmas show on TV when it's really hot outside and the sun is shining is enough to make you question your very existance!!

May 18th? Wow, that would be more typical of college letting out verses K-12 schools. That's early. The K-12 schools here go until the end of May and start back the second week of August.
It's rather normal down here.
barwars 08-08-2004, 08:50 AM Live from Syracuse.... the bad weather capital of the world.
Here we are starting the 3rd month of the WORST summer in the history of Syracuse.
Rain 8 days of the week.
Temperature NEVER hitting 80.
What a life.
Speaking as someone who works outside, I wouldn't mind if the weather stayed just like it has been for the rest of the month.
Humidity really screws up my hair.
;)

Good, glad I'm not losing my mind. I thought it was some tradition that I had missed out on for the 15 years of my existence that Christmas movies are on tv in August.
