I love cranky TV characters. Characters that are easily annoyed such as

Archie Bunker
James Evans
Stanley Roper
George Jefferson

yeah they're fun to laugh at. Thelma Harper(Mama's family) was the epitomy of cranky, and never fails to crack me up :lol:

Absolutely. They're hilarious.

Im also a sucker for snobs.
(which is probably why George Jefferson was one of the greatest characters ever)

Martin Crane on Frasier is my personal favorite cranky character.... not to mention the best on the show too.

i like paris geller from gilmore girls shes cranky and somehow likeable at the same time

I am on the whole indifferent towards cranky characters, although some have been very funny. My favorite cranky characters would be Carl Winslow on Family Matters and Larry Appleton on Perfect Strangers.

I wouldn;t consider Carl a Cranky character because he was only cranky when he was around Urkel. Around everyone else he was not cranky.

Carla Tortelli was cranky: :thumbsup:

Becker was cranky: ....:thumbsdow

I'm gonna say Chester Tate and Benson from Soap. They came off as cranky alot of the time.
