In the beginning, you see Jack, Janet, Terri, Mr. F, Larry, and what appears to be Cindy walking into the zoo. Cindy is not in the series anymore, so why put her in it? She also doesn't appear in the ending credits, or on the bus.

This is explained in "Come and Knock on Our Door". Most of the seasons have two versions of the opening: the full one and an abbreviated made for syndication. When the abbreviated opening was made for seasons 7 and 8, they goofed and used a shot from the season 6 opening, when Jennilee Harrison was still around. If you watch the full opening for seasons 7 and 8, you can see that they reshot the group zoo footage without Jennilee, so there's no reason they couldn't have used one of those shots for the abbreviated opening.

Only in syndication you can see Cindy in the Season 7 opening credits walking up the stairs in the opening. Nick at Nite did show the uncut theme for Season 7 and 8 w/o her though.
