I'm sure this won't happen, but wouldn't it be great if N@N showed the first two "Three's Company" pilots? In the first one, John Ritter's character was named David, and was an aspiring filmmaker. The girls had different names and were played by different actresses. The Ropers were called George and Mildred, as in the British version. And it was written by Larry Gelbart of "M*A*S*H", so the tone was probably very different. The second pilot had the same cast and production team as the series, except that a different actress played Chrissy.

I know that TV Land showed one of the "lost" "All in the Family" pilots a few years ago. It would be great if they showed the first two TC pilots as well.

I don't know if I would really want to watch them, because I would want John, Joyce, and Suzanne to play the roles, and want the subject material the same. I think that Joyce was I all of the pilots, but with short hair like in the 4th season. The girl who played Chrissy was actually overweight and not as pretty.

Joyce DeWitt was not in the first pilot, she came in the 2nd pilot. John Ritter, Norman Fell, and Audra Lindley were the only ones in all 3 pilots.

N@N/TVL does have right to all 3 pilots, I wish they would air the 2 unaired ones!!!
