I know that on Roseanne she made fun of a lot of past and present celebritys so I was just wondering if any other sitcom has made fun of Roseanne or dressed up like her or anything?

I don't know exactly what they said, but I know one of the golden girls made a really mean comment on the show directed towards Roseanne.

Then I know Joey off of Full House did an impression, which was her yelling at her kids and something about food or something another...

correct me if I am wrong, but I just know about those two...

I believe there were a couple mentions of Roseanne on Mama's Family. I also know there was one on Saved by the Bell. I know I have heard more, but that's all that I can think of right now.

A specific quote from MF:

Thelma: I was up all night worrying.
Bubba: About your tax audit?
Thelma: No Bubba, I was worried that Roseanne Barr might sit on one of her kids.

I do love Roseanne, but that one has me laughing every time.

I know for sure that Murphy Brown took several jabs at Roseanne over its ten year run! Roseanne and Candice Bergen were on the 'outs' because Candice won the emmy for like five straight years in a row and Roseanne got snubbed until Candice took her name out of the running and Roseanne won during her show's sixth season (1993-1994).

That is just the way business is in show business I beleive. It's not like Roseanne never made fun of other shows. It goes both ways. I remember in her 9th season Roseanne the character made a mean remark toward the female cast of friends. something about an eating disorder.

I'm not sure if this would be considered making fun, but another show Roseanne possibly made fun of was Full House when she said something like, "What do you want, Dan? They're showin' that episode of Full House where one of them little twin girls is gonna die." It definatly made fun of Gilligan's Island, esp when Gilligan (Jackie) runs around screaming and Roseanne (Ginger) says, "Well, there's another emmy"

thelma: there... is that enough?
meter man: just a tad more..
thelma: (pours the rest of the box in a big mound on his waffle) well, what are you doin.. the roseanne barr diet!?

They did once in "The Critic"

Jay: Lets see the latest episode of Roseanne!
(He turns the TV to "Roseanne")
Roseanne: Dan! I found a lesbian! Can we keep her in the basement?

If you ever watched the old "All That" episodes, one of the girls did a skit at least once, where she played a very loud, and very obnoxious Roseanne. None of which, by the way, she is. ;)

Heh, I remember that. Roseanne was a recurring character for that girl. There was one skit where Roseanne was teaching an aerobics class, and the whole time she was actng lazy and eating fatty foods. She also kept mentioning how she wanted to go to Target as they were having a sale on pork rinds and panty hose.

The reference toward Roseanne in the Golden Girls episode involved Dorothy and Sophia getting a part in a pizza commercial which was originally planned to take place at the girls house. When they gave the director a tour of the kitchen, Rose was in a really bad mood and started screaming at him. Fed up, the director throws up his hands and says.....

"Look! If I wanted to be treated like this I would have directed the Roseanne Barr show!!!! I'm outta here."

in married with children, in one episode, Bud is a sex counselor who has to goto a girls hosue to talk her out of having sex with her boyfriend. He is having trouble with this because she is really hot. Among giving her bad images of to keep her mind off sex, he has to use Roseanne in his mind to stop thinking about sex.

I can't remember of a Roseanne mention, but what was mentioned about Roseanne on Saved by the Bell?

Roseanne brought Full House at the beginning of the part one episode when the Conners go to the Disney Land (or was it World?). Dan calls Roseanne into the living room, and she comes in and says, "What is it, Dan? I'm watching an episode of Full House where one of the Olsen twins is about to die." Or something like that.

In a Living Single episode Overton says something like "Have you not learned from the epic saga of Roseanne and Tom Arnold?

in the one where they play the gigillians island (or however it's spelled) i wouldn't concider it so much as "making fun", but it was funny. especially when mark says... (not exact quote) right when they land on the island with the hole in the boat... "wow, look at that hole! that's way beyond our technology to patch up. excuse me, i'm gonna go make a radio out of a coconut." david's character is funny too. :happyface

It's not about the show but in an episode of "A Different World" Roseanne and Tom Arnold play looters.
