which seems to be the better show here? for me, it would have to be diff'rent strokes. one reason, diff'rent strokes dealt with many tough issues of the time (child molestation, sex, etc.) one of the problems with the cosby show i think is that they never tackled any major issues. they were like the perfect family who never did any harm. it seems like the cosby kids never had any temptations or pressure to try drugs or have sex. a family show like that should tackle these subjects, to show kids the dangers that are out there and to help kids do what is right. diff'rent strokes did tackle these subjects, and cast members dana plato and todd bridges had these problems in real life. to me, bill cosby sometimes acts like mr. perfect, and he really isn't.

well,to me he is;) !!!and...they talked bout bein pregnant and drugs and stuff...i mean, ishould kno i tepaed each ep;) !!!!and i think that the cosby show is wwaaaaaayyyyyy betta than any other shows!!!!to talk bout drugs, sex etc the whole time is too annoying for me to watch!!!!the huxtables had fun the most time(what is really good),and sometimes the kids had their problems!!!but to me it seems really unrealisitc to talk the whole time bout that thingsm,i mean which normal family talks bout that so often?!?!

there were episodes specifically about the pressures of drug use. and also of sex
one was where clair and cliff found a joint in theo's book
vanessa and her boyfriend were in a makeout alley and he presured her to have sex then cliff brought out the apples and knives after she got home waaay after curfew
when pam got there a few of her episodes was dealing with sex and her boyfriend slyneed i go on?
the point of the show was basically a upperclass family with midly mischevious children and they did that puposely to show a functional black family
playing up controversial drama only makes a show boring and forced like a soap opera
