Do channels have to put the rating (i.e. TV-G) at the top of each show? I was just wondering because at the beginning of "Roseanne" on my local CBS affiliate there isn't a rating like you see on the other shows.

See that's what I thought too. However there's nothing at all. If you need to "see it to believe it" I can upload a video clip.

That help? Thats weird. Becuase there are episodes of Whos the Boss? with nothing bad in it whatsoever yet its still rated TV-PG.

I guess it depends on your definition of bad. I think it is very hard to get a TV-G rating, simply because it has to be so incredibly clean. Who knows.

The ratings are so subjective that it's really not worth the time trying to figure it out.

Thanks, that did help. For some reason, I was thinking that the affiliates had to put a rating in for the show, I guess that is not the case.

I only think that certain episodes of Whos the Boss? should be TV-PG because a lot of them are ok.

I think that most "Who's the Boss?" episodes get a PG rating because their adult jokes, which most of the time fly past the younger viewers anyways.
