The 80's were awesome!! I love the music, and sitcoms and everything else, well probably not the clothes. Though I prefer the early 80's style than the later years. The Police were awesome, that's one of my favorite songs. I also like Christopher Cross and Hall and Oates (they were cool back then) and the list goes on and on. But John Lennon, didn't he die in 1980?

The list that you got from that site neglected to mention another big toy seller that came out in 1978- the new and improved Steve Austin "Six Million Dollar Man" doll of which I had one.
