I was watching this episode but in the middle of one of the cases the screen turned to static, since there was a technician working on a problem we had on our computer. UM came back on 10 mintues later and it was another case, but again the static came back after a few mintues. So i missed these two cases that i was pulled into and i was hoping there would be an update for both of them, but i never got to see if there was one. So if anyone saw it can you tell me if there were any updates?

The first story was about this 20-year-old woman named Marlys (dont remember last name) and sometime after she gave birth, the doctors said her newborn baby girl died. But later on, her and her family believed that the burial was for another baby, since the baby looked different and it just didnt seem right. Years later Marlys gets a photo in the mail that contained no return address or a letter/note, just a single photo of 5 people--a man, a woman, 2 young kids and a baby girl that Marlys said looked like her husband. And this is when the static came on my screen. Hah that was frustrating.

And the other segment that i saw like 7 mintues minutes of was about police arriving to a scene of an accident. A car crashed into a tree i believe, and the woman who was driving died. But there was speculation that it was a set up to look like an accident when in fact she was killed beforehand by someone, some believing the suspect to be her husband. There were theories that he raped her and strangled her and when he realized he killed her, he cleaned up the body and dressed her and i guess he put her in the car. But the police and/or her family noticed she wasnt wearing any socks or her jewelry. Im guessing she always wore her jewelry. But yeah, i think thats how the story goes. And her husband claims he is innocent. I think his name was Steven Page?

So if anyone is familiar with these cases and knows any updates/more information bout them, thank you so very much. Its just annoying that i was watching it and i was left hanging.

Yeah I didn't watch it today cause it's one of those cases that has been repeated I think his wife's name was Donna something or other but that is possibly wrong. Anyhoo here is the background, there was a nasty divorce between the two and Steve was apparently shunned or felt as if he was shunned away from his kids and his wife just left him to "go find herself" (those were his words).

Anyhow his wife began dating again and one night during a date she asked Steve to babysit the kids which he did. A few hours later his wife was found murdered. Her family obviously think Steve had a hand in it and due to his friendships with police he would never be prosecuted for the murder. Page's account is that his wife (along with himself) were both being harassed by an "Italian Mafia Family" in beaumont texas where they lived and they were likely responsible for the murder.

Another clue surfaced in which DNA tests shows that Steve's wife had sex with someone prior to her murder and the man had a vasectomy, which fit Steve Page's MO. Steve later admitted to having sex with his wife the night of her death but denies any involvement in her slaying. For the police's part they seem to not consider Page a suspect even though Page himself feels he is being harassed around the Beaumont area.

In my opinion this case is puzzling neither Steve or his wife's family gave compelling arguements in the segment and in my opinion it was likely a stranger murder or whatever you call that.

The other case you refer to is another puzzling one about a baby girl (Mary Agnes Gross?) who apparently died in the 50s or 60s as an infant. Years later it was discovered her body was not buried in the gravesight where they thought it was leading her mother to believe that her daughter was still alive - Also people not related to her were grieving at the funeral and she wondered why as she had never seen these people before in her life.

The mystery is still unsolved and it's likely that the woman herself is now dead as she was in failing health at the time.

Later.

Wow i missed a lot in the Steven Page case. Then again, you cant fit all that in 7 minutes. But yeah i remember the townspeople putting up signs saying things along the lines of "I guess you can get away with murder if you're friends with the police". This was a strange case indeed.

And the baby story, they didnt even find out who the people in the picture were? Gah, thats bothersome. But nevertheless, thank you for the full stories. You guys are on top of things!
