NICK AT NITE aired the episode Up in the Air tonight and cut out the funniest part!!! when jack is drunk and dancing around... they cut it out when he kissed the lamp.. there was more to go.. the cane on the steps, the flower pot on his head. why do they do this?!?!?!?!

They cut out those scenes to make room for the commercials.

Yes, I was really bummed. I had been waiting 10 long years to see that episode again. They cut out the best part, Jack was just getting warmed up when they cut to the balcony shot. The flower pot part was the best. I must have an unedited version of that episode! Anyone want to make some $??

Yes, you're right--that is the best part. They cut that out a few months ago when they first aired it and I e-mailed Nick-at-Nite asking them to please put that part back in next time around. Guess that didn't work!

What they do is they put scenes back in that were cut in syndication and take out what was used in syndication and show footage that hadn't been aired since the show was on ABC. That is what they do with all their shows.
