"Keith And Family" stars John Stamos as Keith Harris. Keith Harris is an attorney of 10 years, and a husband of 18 years, and a father of 16 years. Keith and his loving wife, Valerie Harris (Lara Flynn Boyle), often called "Val", live in an average home in Buffalo with their four children. Keith and Val Harris's four children include: Kyle, 16, Ryan, 15, Lacey, 10, and Logan, 10. Lacey and Logan are fraternal twins, born 3 minutes apart. Val's younger sister, Kelly (Kimberly Williams-Paisely) is constantly over at the house, asking for advice. Keith and Val's next-door neighbors and best friends are Joe and Mandy Taylor (Dylan McDermott, Lori Loughlin), who have no kids yet, but Mandy is carrying their firstborn. Val and Keith give advice on parenting to the expecting parents. Keith tries to handle work, family, friends, stress, and much more in an average workday.
In the pilot, Keith wants to take his boys (Kyle, Ryan, and Logan) out camping for some father-son bonding, but Keith learns Kyle is too busy with his friends and Ryan is too busy with his girlfriend, Sarah (Hilary Duff) to go with their dad camping. But Keith takes Logan, and the two have a good time.
