.....Mike was upset with one of the girls and Carol the likewise with the boys. Notice how everyone obeyed each other. The girls listened to Mike as if he was their real father. The same goes for the boys and Carol.

..I remember Mike making Marcia pick up the phone and the hang it, the right. I think that was the episode where Greg and Marcia were runningfor office at their school.

Carol scolding both Greg and Marcia over Alice's departure. She even called Greg :young man".

Mike also scolded Marcia for 'trespassing in his office' when she was writing the Father of the Year letter.

I don't remember the episode, but it seems I remember Carol telling Greg to 'get off the phone NOW'.

what about in the hawaii episode where mike and carol kinda do with the girls for not telling them where the boys went?
