Classic lines from that episode:
When the old man adds up his bill (its like $180) and Fred goes:
"What did you eat, the Nixon tapes?"
& when Evelyn says she has to go powder her nose again & Fred goes: "You got enough powder on your nose now to make biscuits." LOL some very funny stuff

Hey Solomon, remember Fred kept wanting to go to his favorite restaurant instead - Rosco's Rib Shack on Rodondo!
I think he mentioned Rosco's in another episode as well.

I think Sammy Davis Jr. is in that ep but doesn't have any speaking parts

Yes, he's sitting at a table with Stymie Beard from Little Rascals. When Fred was walking past their table he said something to them & Sammy gave him a funny look. Stymie had appeared as one of Fred's buddies in some early episodes of Sanford & Son. This episode was before the one where Sammy performs at Evelyn's benefit party. I also liked Evelyn's drunk neighbor Hal Comer, he was funny as hell playing those horns LOL

Everytime my family and I go to a restrunt as Fred calls it, we look at the menu and we say one of the great lines from the show. Baked potato 5 dollars.......butter extra.....I guess chives is out altogether. I love that line. Also when Fred looks at the old man and his date...he says..."That ain't none of your daughter" Classic show.
