Archie: Don't be picking on the man over minor details like that. The American people don't elect the president over that stuff anyhow. They don't like a guy like McGovern who's running around changing his mind all the time. They want a man like Nixon who don't change for nothing.

Mike: You're right about that Arch. He keeps making the same mistakes over and over again.

That's why I posted it, I just watched this episode on the dvd yesterday and was amazed how much it sounded like what's going on now.
