Maybe I'm odd, but it just seems so tragic when Kimberly says something along the lines of "I'm going to make something of my life." I don't think that is the exact quote of the episode with Dorthy Hammel, but it still seems tragic. RIP Dana- We miss you.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]

Dale Midkiff is my man! :)

Class of 2002! :)

I completely agree, Jenny. In some ways it's nice to see her as the innocent darling of the show because that's how I want to remember her. However, it does break my heart to hear her say things like that.

It is also very sad and creepy hearing Dana sing in the Music Man episode.

I was watching the emmys last night and noticed they paid tribute to Carrol O' Connor and other people in television who have died. Did they ever mention Dana Plato in 1999? Does anybody know?

Yes they did mention Dana in '99 Curtis. On the memorial site, just after that, there are a lot of entries in the guest book. Which makes me grateful to Todd for providing a place for us all to share our thoughts about Dana with one another.
