I dont know if anyone else here likes continuity errors, but I think they are great...or tormenting, either way.

First off, lets keep these away from errors between Cheers and Frasier, since there are so many.

I'm really bad at starting threads, so bear with me, also, feel free to correct anywhere that I am wrong.

My first one, is in I think the second episode, a guy comes and says he has to talk to Gus, Coach goes on to find out that Gus is dead. In one of the final season episodes, the old bar owner Gus comes back, and Sam leaves him in charge.

In a first season episode, Norm says "it's my 10th wedding anniversary...Im taking Vera out for Pizza", in a last season episode, 10 years later, Norm is standing outside, and Sam says "What are you doing" and he says "it's my 15th wedding anniversary", then he waves at Vera as she drives by.

In the episode "I'm Alright, You're Defective" (i think that's what it calls) at the end it shows a clip of Lillith and Frederick after Frasiers death, and it acts as if Lillith and Frasier stayed married.

In the season 1 episode where Dianes cat dies, she talks about her parents divorce, then in the episode where Diane and Sam almost get married so Diane's mom can get the inheritance, they act as if Diane's parents stayed married until her father's death.

I always wonder if the writers dont realize these, or realize them but think no one will notice.

anyone have any more good ones?

I think in one episode Diane said she was born prematurely. In another she says how babies who are born late are smarter and uses herself as an example.

In Phil's first episode, where he sings the Bonanza theme, his name isn't Phil it's Glenn or something.

I was going to mention that, but that isnt a continuity error, that is simply using the same actor twice, for the purpose of the storyline they ARE different people.

And that is Paul, not Phil.

Well, if you are indeed staying away from Frasier continuity problems.... then this still makes sense.

And who knows?? Maybe someday Frasier and Lilith will get back together.

I remember Diane said that her parents seperated, not divorced.
I think that is not a continuity error.

I'm sorry.
I thought that I'd mention it, just for the sake of mentioning it. If that makes sense. I was very tired when I wrote that, hence the Paul/Phil error. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

I'm pretty willing to give the writers a break on this one. Yeah, it doesn't jibe with what we know happened (in Frasier, at least), but how were they going to know that Bebe was going to say "Screw this, L.A. sucks. I'm going back to New York. Bye, guys." (and who could blame her, really? I mean...Southern Cali vs. New York City? I'm surprised she stayed so long!)?
Plus, I'm an X-Files fan. I have learned the hard way that sometimes, the only thing you can do about continuity errors is sigh, and say "Yeah, whatever, Chris Carter." Or um you know, Charles, Burrows, and Charles. Whichever.

Oh, and just a heads up..."Lilith" has only one "L" in the middle. :)

Always the optimist, barwars. That's what I like about you. That and your avatar. I really like your avatar. But optimism is good too.

I was thinking of mentioning that they probably didnt know Bebe would want to leave the show then.

Frasier and Lilith are married when Cheers ends. (they got back together shortly before the series ended)
If Frasier (the show) never existed, then that wouldnt count as a continuity error.
