Ha, Firefox is sweet. Have I already said that before? I found a thing on their Extensions page where it kills the right-click prevention script on websites. You know, the ones where if you try to right-click on something and you get a JavaScript popup saying you can't right-click.
PZelda 07-31-2004, 11:51 PM I'm so used to Alt + Tab. Ctrl + Tab...

www.mozilla.com
It's better than IE..it won't give you any spyware and you can do a ton of stuff with it in their Tools > Extensions menu. You remember the other day where I was saying how I blocked a couple of peoples' avatars on here? That's one thing you can do in Firefox.
It takes a while to get used to it, but I love it.
The best thing? You don't need to use a popup blocker. I don't have any turned on, and I've gotten 0 popups since using Firefox. :D

PZelda 07-31-2004, 11:55 PM I had Google Toolbar installed in IE and it did a pretty awesome job of blocking popups, but popups STILL got by the toolbar.

I love Mozilla, I might give Firefox another try, but I love my Mozilla, cause I can set up sites that I frequent in the toolbar at the top :D

Try it and see how you like it. If you install it and hate the way Firefox scrolls, you can go to Tools > Options and click on the "Advanced" button and click on "Browsing" there and turn on smooth scrolling there. It's not quite the same, but I'm used to it now. The feature I use to block images is called Adblock...it's one of the popular Extensions downloads there. :D

The only time I use IE anymore now is for LiveJournal, because Firefox apparently hates LiveJournal and keeps logging me out when I go to update my LJ.

21 Jump Street: Season 1 - October 26! Hope they have all the original music intact. DeLuise is doing commentary for some of the episodes.

 If I don't have to wear shoes, I won't. Heck, I'd go to the store and pretty much every place else without them, too. Don't feel dumb. There've been times when I've damn near busted my ass on the front porch because I slipped like that.
Skywalker 08-01-2004, 01:11 AM I miss the old NES. I'll never forget going to my friend's house and playing Super Mario 3 every day during the summer and his father calied us ****heads everytime we messed up. Good times.

Trust me there are NOT a lot of interesting bars in San Diego; I guess too much competition from LA and Tijuana; so usually I head up north to Orange County, my favorite bar in the whole world is a place called Loffers in Anaheim, great bands, and great people:) But I do not take SKANK there, I usually take COOL people that have class... Loffers in Anaheim.. I'll have to remember that. ;) When I'm 21 next month, I will DEFINITELY NOT be going to any bars in this area. Very low-life and trashy. But it will suck having to travel just to have a good time. Can't exactly drive home from Seattle to Centralia after going to a bar or club, so I guess we'll take turns being the DD...

You're cool sister. Just do your thing and don't worry 'bout nobody else. Like Sheryl Crow used to say, "If it makes you happy. . ."

Lol, I want to try that. I think I read on some site I could because I have an older version, but then I've heard numerous times that it's only for the gold cartridge, so I've never bothered.
When my cousin hangs out at our house almost all summer, Zelda goes on damn near all day on a lot of days. I even started up again a couple weeks ago but I quickly got bored.
I also took pics of the tricks I was doing -- that was waaaaay before digital cameras. I still have them somewhere...I don't know where they are, I think it's in storage somewhere now.

I went through this time where I never wore tennis shoes, so if I actually had trouble walking flat... I think my ankles were so positioned for heels that I couldn't get used to any flats.
