Kirstie is in "People" magazine (the August 9, 2004) issue. Kirstie is on page 84. Please post sum pix when any1 gets the issue. (I don't have a scanner, so that's why I can't scan the pix myself) The cover can be found @ www.people.com that's where I'll look 4 the cover & post it unless some1 beats me 2 it.

I kinda feel sorry for Kirstie, gaining all that weight. Oh well as long as she's happy.

I think Kirstie Alley's weight gain is better than Mary Kate Olsen's anorexia.

Which by the way, is ALSO featured on the cover.

I think feeling bad for her for gaining weight is uhhh....exactly opposite of the point.

Im pretty sure her point is that it should be ok to be a bit heavy, so by being "sympathetic" you are still part of the problem

No offense to anybody, but no one should be happy about being overweight. It is very unhealthy.

I think her point was on the fact that not every girl needs to weigh 100 pounds

and anyway, she isnt fat enough for it t obe a real health risk, is she?

i don't think they're saying she's happy about being overweight, but rather happy with herself despite the fact that she's overweight. which is the way it should be.

I went to my mom's work yesterday, and one of her coworkers gave me this issue of the magazine (I was ecstatic). I FINALLY got to read it after many attempts of reading it in checkout lanes. I think it's good that at least one magazine sat her down and TALKED to her to see how she is on this whole issue.

No, she is happy about being overweight or at least she's pretending to to publicize her show.

I'm 99% sure that she isn't happy about being overweight.
She appears to be perfectly comfortable with being overweight, but there's a difference between being happy and being comfortable.
